Historical Fishing Photos - Canady & CroswaitVisit History for more historical photos and to learn more about our three generations of Outer Banks fishing. Most of these photos were taken by Outer Banks legend Aycock Brown (1904-1984), photographer, writer and publicist and the first director of the Dare County Tourist Bureau (1952). The Welcome Center in Kitty Hawk is named for Aycock Brown who did so much to put Outer Banks fishing "on the map". Pictured are Captains BC Buddy Cannady and Buddy Croswait, grandfather and father of Captain Jordan Croswait, along with various mates and fishing parties over the years.
