Today was a ideal day to fly the kite. The winds were steady 15 or better out of the SWW which is just right for working the shelf. We set right out with it this morning on some tunas we seen jumping. We didn’t get a sniff out of them though. We had 7 bites on the kite today and only holding onto 1 of them. When the tunas jumped at the bait it was half cocked. They didn’t even act like they wanted it. We had 2 wahoo bites and a dolphin. Catching one of the wahoos. We had the same group from yesterday and they did not want any dolphin. Although there was some decent dolphin fishing below. Maybe tomorrow the tunas will have burnt off whatever they have in there bellies and will go to biting. We will find out in the morning.
