Today was a drizzly overcast day with cooler temperatures. Other than the rain it was nice to have the cool weather. We had intentions to look for yesterdays dolphin but thunder storms that went through last night and this morning pushed most of the grass off of the change. We went to plan B right out of the gate, and that plan actually paid off. We didn’t fish for long before having a couple of single tuna bites. Nice fish 40 pounders. We trolled for a while longer then got hit catching 4 more nice tunas out of 5 bites. Happy that everyone in the party had caught a nice fish we started hoping for seconds. We ended up catching one more tuna throughout the rest of the day. It started off hot but just as fast as it started it ended. It was a good day though I will take 7 40 pound tuna any day. Curious to see what tomorrow will bring.
